Winter sun conditions in 1969 and extreme drought in 1976 the outline of a dog, a terrier was observed, although no concrete evidence has been obtained.

The Giantess

As a piece of experimental fieldwork by students from Bournmouth University, resulted in the creation of a temporary Giantess next to the Cerne Abbas Giant for two days 10-11 July 1997. This has been included here for completeness but it is not a true Hill Figure.
