The set comprises of the most famous prehistoric animals, from Triceratops to T REX, the first card depicts Eusthenopteron and the last card Australoithecus.
This is a series of 50 cards issued in late 1971, the cards are in the standard size and format, 40 were horizontal and 10 vertical. They all have black printed backs and colour paintings on the front.
An album accompanied this series, and there are no known error cards, the cards were reprinted.
